Passengers numbers of almost 119,000 per month passed through Prestwick Airport during the peak summer 2013 season months Numbers may improve still further with the news that Ryanair are looking to increase flights numbers to Malaga, Faro and Alicante. Hot news this week concerns the Scottish Governments willingness to take Glasgow’s Prestwick Airport back into the public ownership and hopefully safeguarding 1300 Scottish jobs.
