Improved Safety at Birmingham Airport
Birmingham International Airport based in the UK’s 2nd City has recently taken delivery of a fleet of new multi million pound fire fighting vehicles.
The Oshkosh Striker vehicles are reported to have cost in excess of £3,000,000 million pounds each.
The fire fighters are the first of a kind in the Great Briton having been purchased from the USA.
The Oshkosh Striker is more sophisticated and faster than the previous fire engines and carries up to 12.25 thousand litres of water. It’s reassuring to know that when you next book Birmingham Airport parking that you are travelling from one of the safest airports in the world.
